We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Donations Specialist to support the Naija Nation Legacy Foundation in securing donations for grants and scholarships. This position will also involve organizing and supporting donor events to foster relationships and ensure the successful funding of our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify potential donors and funding opportunities, and conduct outreach to secure donations for grants and scholarships.
• Prepare and submit grant proposals and funding requests to potential donors and foundations.
• Maintain regular communication with donors, providing updates on the impact of their contributions and expressing gratitude.
• Assist in planning and executing donor events, including virtual and in-person fundraisers, appreciation events, and informational sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and donor information using donor management software.
• Generate reports on donation activities, progress towards fundraising goals, and the impact of grants and scholarships.
• Work closely with the Naija Nation Legacy Foundation team to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor management.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in donor management software and databases.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with event planning and coordination.
• Familiarity with the nonprofit sector and fundraising best practices.
• Knowledge of CRM software.
