We're looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support our Merchandising Team with the procurement and shipment operations of our online merchandise. This position requires the candidate to be located in Los Angeles and be able to work both remotely and on-site as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the procurement process for merchandise, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for online sales, conducting regular audits and updates.
• Coordinate the order fulfillment process, ensuring accurate and timely shipment of products to customers.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and consistency of merchandise.
• Support aspects of shipping logistics, including packaging, labeling, and selecting the most efficient shipping methods.
• Conduct quality checks on incoming merchandise to ensure products meet Naija Nation’s standards.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement, inventory, and shipments, and generate reports as needed.
• Work closely with the Merchandising Team to align operations with overall business goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in operations, procurement, or logistics, preferably in a merchandising or e-commerce environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
• Familiarity with shipping logistics and vendor management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Shopify
• Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
